The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye has announced the opening of a new SEFA Visa Application Office in Lagos. The newly opened Turkey visa application office in Lagos is expected to make the Turkey visa process more convenient for Nigerian travellers.

According to the embassy, the new facility became fully operational on June 1, 2026, and is located at Suite F1.A, 1st Floor, Cardinal Place, Plot 115 Ayo Babatunde Crescent, Oniru, Lekki, Lagos.

The development is expected to significantly reduce the stress and cost associated with travelling to Abuja for visa application processing.

Previously, many applicants residing in Lagos and neighbouring states were required to visit the Turkish Embassy in Abuja or other designated centres to complete parts of their visa application process. The Turkey visa application centre in Lagos reduces the need for many applicants to travel to Abuja for processing.

With the new Turkey visa application office in Lagos, travellers now have easier access to visa support and application services.
