Subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Travellers will be able to visit Mauritius from 15 July 2021, first staying in one of 14 “resort bubbles” – which have been specially set up to welcome visitors to the island (Port Louis, Mauritius, 29 June 2021).
Mauritius is opening in phases; the first phase from 15 July to 30 September 2021 this opening is now extended to both vaccinated and unvaccinated visitors.
Unvaccinated visitors from 15 July 2021
Unvaccinated vaccinated visitors are required to book a 14-night in-room quarantine stay in one of Mauritius’ quarantine hotels before departure.
A quarantine hotel stay is only available for unvaccinated international visitors and returning Mauritian nationals. A hotel can be booked through a tour operator, travel agent or directly with the hotel. A full list of approved quarantine hotels and entry requirements are available at https://www.mauritiusnow.com/
Fully vaccinated Travelers from 15 July 2021 – 30 September 2021
Mauritius launches a unique 14-day “resort bubble” holiday on the island. Fully vaccinated visitors will be allowed to enjoy facilities within their chosen hotel including the swimming pool and beach. Also, a guest who will stay for 14 days with a negative PCR test will be allowed during the stay in the resort, to travels around the island freely to explore the Island. However, short-stay visitors may leave the resort earlier for their departure. None or partially vaccinated visitors will be unable to use the “rubble bubble” package. Note: All travellers are required to undergo a PCR test between 5 and 7 days of their departure and a negative result to enter the island. On arrival, travellers will undergo a PCR test at the airport, and on days 7 and 14 on their stay in the resort or quarantine hotel, as applicable.
