Over the past two days, we have witnessed growing concerns from our clients who have been calling and sending in inquiry about the news making rounds online that Nigerians are being denied visas to the United Arab Emirates. The news is trending on social media platforms such as Twitter, WhatsApp and Instagram.
The news was alarming, and we communicated with our partners and resource personnel in the Emirates, who also reached out to concerned authorities and the Nigerian embassy. This rumour is debunked as “Fake News”. The Emirates remains open to Nigerians who have a valid visa.
