The UAE’s Federal Authority For Identity And Citizenship Resumed it’s services for customers from July 12, 2020, starting with receiving renewal applications for expired residency Visas and ID cards.
Renewal of Applications will be received in batches based on time of Expiry.
- For documents that expired in May, their renewal applications will be accepted from August 8, 2020.
- The documents that expired between June 1 and July 2 will be accepted as renewal applications from September 10, 2020
- For those expiring on July 12 onward, their renewal applications will not be restricted to a specific date.
The Authority has requested everyone to take advantage of the smart services it provides and adhere to the renewal schedules to avoid incurring Administrative Fines.
