The South African Consul-General in Nigeria brings some good news for prospective South African travellers. On July 9th 2022, The SA Consul-General in Nigeria, Darkey Africa announced the resumption of the South African visa applications in Lagos State.
Darkey assured that activities were scheduled to resume at VFS Lagos on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
South African visa applications in Lagos were initially suspended in February 2022 to allow the relocation of the Consulate Office in Lagos. This led to the disengaging of the system that made applicants go to the Abuja office.
Darkey advised interested applicants to follow the established guidelines issued by VFS when submitting their applications.
