Visa Duration

The Singapore visa allows you to stay for 14-30 Days with Single Entry, depending on your nationality. You may get more days if you have a good profile, travel history and reason for visiting.

What is the Singapore Visa?

A Singapore Tourist Visa is a type of visa that allows you to visit Singapore for tourism purposes, such as sightseeing, leisure, or visiting friends and relatives. Depending on your nationality, you may or may not need a visa to enter Singapore. If you do need a visa, you can apply for one.

You will also need to submit a Singapore Arrival Card online within three days prior to your arrival in Singapore, which provides personal information, trip details and health declaration.

Possession of a valid visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore. The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by the ICA officers at the point of entry. The period of stay granted is not tied to the validity of your visa

Which countries need a Visa to visit Singapore?: 

Nigerians need a visa to visit Singapore.

Citizens of around 164 countries, including the USA, the UK, the EU, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Canada, can enter Singapore without a visa for up to 30 or 90 days, depending on their nationality. You just need a valid passport for the entire stay and an onward or return ticket.

All other travellers need to apply for a visa before visiting Singapore.

However, everyone who wants to enter Singapore must apply for a Singapore Arrival Card before travelling.

How long is the Singapore Visa valid?

The Singapore visa allows a maximum stay of 30 or 90 days from the date of arrival, depending on your nationality. It is a single-entry visa, so once the permitted stay is over, you must leave the country to avoid legal problems. Although an extension is possible, it is not guaranteed and does not grant multiple entries. You can apply for an extension online using the e-Service, up to 14 days before your visa expires

Note:

  1. Visa Fees are excluded from our pricing. That will be paid on the date of your biometrics capture at VFS/embassy/consulate
  2. Travellers who have been in China and Macao in the last 10 days must present a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours before arrival. Children under 12 years old are exempt from testing requirements.
  3. Some information above are subject to change due to embassy/consulate review. Hence, it is advised you seek consultation for the latest information.
