Molori Safari, an award-winning safari company in the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa, has expanded its operations by opening a luxurious tented camp in Mana Pools, Zimbabwe, known for its exceptional wildlife and natural beauty. The new property, Molori Mashuma, offers an immersive African safari experience with personalized service, design-led accommodations, and expert-guided activities.
Molori Mashuma features six spacious and beautifully decorated fully-air-conditioned tented suites, providing guests with privacy and tranquility in the heart of the bush. The camp’s design draws inspiration from the local environment, with a deep connection to the surrounding landscape. It was brought to life by Johannesburg-based designers, Hesse Kleinloog Studios, and incorporates elements created by local crafters and artists.
The camp’s design aesthetic is bold and eclectic, in line with the signature style of Molori’s original lodge in Madikwe.
Mana Pools, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its unique biodiversity and wildlife experiences. Molori Mashuma offers guests the opportunity to engage in various adventurous activities, including game viewing in different areas, walking safaris in the diverse ecosystem, and dining experiences near ancient baobabs or on the banks of the Zambezi River.
The camp operates seasonally from April to October when the receding waters create excellent game-viewing opportunities as wildlife congregates around natural pools. Molori Mashuma aims to provide guests with a wilderness and wildlife adventure unlike any other.
Mana Pools is regarded as a “holy grail” for photographers, making it an attractive destination for wildlife enthusiasts and nature photographers.
Molori Safari’s expansion into Mana Pools reflects the growing interest in sustainable and immersive safari experiences in unique and pristine natural environments.
