The British High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria has reopened its Visa Application Centres (VACS) across the country, and that any individual whose 30-days visa to the UK for work, study or visitation had expired can request for a replacement free of charge.
The UK High Commission, announced the move on Thursday, August 20, in a statement titled “Update On VAC Services From The BHC Nigeria” via its Twitter handle, @UKinNigeria the commission said, the free visa replacement will be open till December 2020 and covers individuals who will be travelling to the UK for work, study or to join their families.
The replacement visa will be valid for 90-days. To request a replacement visa, individuals can arrange to return their passport to their visa Application Centre in Nigeria without an appointment.

The UK Commission’s announcement comes after Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika announced on Monday 17, 2020 that international airports would reopen on August 29, 2020.
