Like a phoenix, it rose by an astonishing 72.2% year over year, soaring to $749, a stark contrast to the 2019 figure of $670.
Yet, the tale takes a turn, and regions once distant from the spotlight now claim centre stage. Africa, Europe, and the Middle East emerge as protagonists, boasting the highest air travel ticket prices in 2022. This revelation is accompanied by a forecast, predicting an additional 2.9% price elevation later this year, followed by a 2.2% ascent in 2024.
