Travelling between Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and several international destinations is set to become more convenient following a new interline partnership between Air Peace and Etihad Airways.

The partnership was announced in a joint press release on Wednesday, 23 July 2026, allowing passengers to book flights across both airlines on a single ticket while enjoying seamless baggage transfers between connecting flights.

What the Partnership Means for Travellers

Under the agreement, Air Peace passengers will be able to connect easily through Etihad Airways’ hub in Abu Dhabi, gaining access to the airline’s extensive global network without the hassle of booking separate tickets.

Likewise, Etihad Airways passengers travelling to Nigeria can continue their journeys on Air Peace to 20 domestic and regional destinations across Nigeria, West Africa, and Central Africa using a single itinerary. Their checked baggage will also be transferred automatically to their final destination, making connections smoother and more convenient.

Strengthening Air Peace’s International Network

The new agreement is another milestone in Air Peace’s growing international expansion strategy. Earlier in 2026, the Nigerian airline also announced interline partnerships with Emirates and Turkish Airlines while recently launching direct flights from Lagos to Antigua and Barbados, expanding its reach into the Caribbean.

The partnership with Etihad is expected to improve connectivity between Nigeria, the UAE, and destinations across Europe, Asia, and beyond, while also strengthening business, tourism, and family travel links between the regions.
